Anita Pearce is a dedicated and compassionate psychotherapist (Qualifying) with over 20 years’ experience working in social services, emergency response, and healthcare settings. She is skilled in a variety of areas including conflict resolution, occupational stress, compassion fatigue, and family and relational dynamics.

 

Born and raised in Australia, Anita’s passion for helping others led her to travel and work abroad with adults, youth, couples, and families in a range of contexts. Anita is now settled with her family in Kingston where she continues to support clients toward lives that are connected and fulfilling.

Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)

A Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) is registered with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO), has completed a master's degree (or equivalent) in a field related to psychotherapy, and is in the process of becoming a fully registered psychotherapist. During this supervised practice period, an RP (Qualifying) may assess and treat individuals with serious disorders of thought, cognition, mood, emotional regulation, perception, or memory that could significantly impair their functioning.
