Michelle Dawney RMT

Michelle first came to Kingston to attend Queen’s University, where she
received her bachelor’s degree in Arts and Science. It didn’t take long for
her to realize that a career in that field wasn’t quite the right fit. Combining
her passion for service, gained in over ten years in the restaurant industry,
and her eagerness and knack for learning about the human body, Michelle
began to feel a strong pull toward massage. After completing her diploma
with honours at Trillium College in July of 2019, Michelle has found that this
enthusiasm and desire to help others through the practice of therapeutic
massage has only intensified.

Michelle is especially interested in how the emotional and mental stresses
in our lives can manifest themselves physically. She enjoys the challenge
of getting to the root of the cause, not just treating symptoms, in an effort
toward general wellness. She understands that every body is different, and
each treatment should be catered to the individual’s needs. Be it lighter
relaxation therapy, or deep tissue work that you’re looking for, Michelle has
the knowledge and skill to adapt each treatment according to what you
need to live a comfortable and healthy lifestyle.

Outside of her time in the clinic, Michelle can be found soaking up every
minute possible with her family and friends, spending time hiking,
swimming, or around the campfire. She loves taking in any and all live
music, and indulging in the amazing culinary diversity this city has to offer.
Kingston is the city she loves, and Michelle cannot wait to give back to the
community that has been so good to her.
